Rohan in Flames - Turn 7 (part IV)

New front 

The battle for Colnuhrim was bloody for both sides. Isengard could not take possession of the village which remains in Rohirrims hands. Morgluk and Grimland will not return. They are lost or have been killed by some marauders. Both armies are very weak and must now rebuild their strength.

Although the battle ended with a draw and gives no victory points, it is a major defeat for the forces of the White Hand. Rohan still aligned 3 armies in the axis Helm's Deep-Colnurhim while Isengard do not align more than one. In addition, the number of strategic points is always in favor of Rohan that will be able to replenish its forces faster. The situation becomes seriously complicated.

Mordor will arrive at the next turn (well, I hope!) and supported by the Scouts of Orthanc, they will be able to create a second front in the eastern region of Emnet and thus forced Rohan to discover Ouestfold in order to face this new threat. Come on, I have first to believe it can work out. After, it's just a question of manoeuvres!

En français dans le texte: La bataille de Colnuhrim a été sanglante pour les deux camps. L'Isengard n'a pas pu prendre possession du village qui reste aux mains des Rohirrims. Morgluk et Grimland ne reviendront pas. Ils se sont perdus ou ont été tués par quelques maraudeurs en fuite. Les deux armées sont très affaiblis et doivent maintenant reconstituer leur force.

Même si la bataille se solde par un match nul et ne rapporte donc aucun point de victoire, c'est une défaite importante pour les troupes de la Main Blanche. Le Rohan aligne encore 3 armées dans l'axe Gouffre de Helm-Colnurhim alors que l'Isengard n'en aligne plus qu'une seule. De plus, le nombre des points stratégiques est toujours en faveur du Rohan qui va donc pouvoir reconstituer ses forces plus rapidement. La situation se complique sérieusement.

Le Mordor doit arriver au prochain tour (enfin, j'espère!) et, soutenu par les scouts d'Orthanc, ils vont pouvoir créer un deuxième front dans la région Est de l'Emnet et forcé ainsi le Rohan a découvrir l'Ouestfold pour faire face à cette nouvelle menace. Allez, il faut y croire....
